About me
I have 40 years of experience in Information Technology, having worked across a wide range of disciplines including software development, technical support, systems analysis, database administration, and network management, among others.
My first passion in IT was programming. Over the years, I have developed applications using Fortran, COBOL, Pascal, Assembly, and several other programming languages. I have also taught introductory computer science courses as well as courses focused on computer graphics.
I eventually developed a passion for databases and have worked with various database management systems throughout my career as a Development Database Administrator (DBA), including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
I have been working with IBM Db2 at Sicoob for more than 10 years, primarily focusing on solutions that improve database performance and promote the efficient and responsible use of database resources.
