Satya Krishnaswamy is Director, Hybrid Data Management Development at IBM, responsible for the strategy, engineering and roadmap of IBM's hybrid Db2 portfolio: Db2, Db2 Warehouse, Db2 on Cloud and Db2 SaaS on IBM Cloud, AWS and Azure, plus IBM Db2 Bridge and the agentic, autonomous Db2 Genius Hub launched on 5 March 2026 and expanded at IBM Think 2026 in Boston with Google Vertex AI and Intel Gaudi 3 support. He joined IBM in 2007 and has held progressively senior engineering and product roles across DB2 Advanced Support, PureData Systems, IBM Integrated Analytics System (IIAS), and Db2 & Data Replication Development. Based at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab in San Jose, Satya holds a bachelor's in engineering from CBIT (Hyderabad) and attended the University of Missouri–Columbia. He is a frequent speaker at IDUG, IBM Think, PrestoCon and regional Db2 user groups across EMEA and the Americas.
