Wiliam Kanegae is a seasoned mainframe expert with over four decades of experience in enterprise technology. Since 2018, he has served as a Solutions Advisor at Rocket Software, specializing in Db2 for z/OS Tools and supporting Latin American customers with the OMEGAMON suite. His career began in 1979 as an assembler programmer at a major financial institution, where he built a strong foundation in mainframe systems. From 1982 to 1989, Wiliam advanced to roles as an IMS and Db2 System Programmer, focusing on installation, customization, and performance optimization. In 1989, Wiliam joined IBM, where he spent nearly 3 decades driving innovation in mainframe solutions. For more than a decade, he served as a technical sales specialist for Db2 for z/OS Tools, helping clients solve complex challenges and achieve operational excellence. Today, Wiliam combines deep technical expertise with a customer-centric approach, delivering solutions that enable organizations to thrive in an evolving digital landscape.
